SnT: rough draftAcross the seas of misfortune lies a promised land: a valley of hopes, of dreams, of future. Across a chasm unfathomable lies what I claim to love, that which makes life seem worthy of the while. Beyond a desert never-ending awaits an oasis, crystal clear in prospect, a glistening pool of life-giving breath. But yet, on the sea I am left shipless by the chasm, bridgeless, and for all the storms raging around me not one can offer a drop of cool water with which to quench my thirst.
