happy Half-Blood Prince day, people! 
In honor of the occasion, I brought out the old carving knives and made another wand. :] My second ever, and the last one was made back in October... so, it's been awhile.
This is how much of it I got done this morning - as you can see, it's still rough around the edges.
I'll finish adding more details, smoothing it out, and sanding it down later.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a midnight showing to get ready for.
length- about 11.25 inches
wood- ...not sure. need to check. >_<
core- wood. sorry, folks, I'm not Ollivander.

Wow, nice! I wish I had the tools & skill to do something like this. I'd like a nice HP style wand, but the ones generally available are almost always lathed, which means they come out seeming too smooth and perfect and lose that "magical" handmade quality.
