Stormy Days ahead by k-ee-ran Stormy Days ahead by k-ee-ran
This is what the coast looked like in Negril, right before we experienced the worst thunder storm of my life. :fear:

yup, it was *right* on top of us... thunderclaps so loud they were easily past the pain threshold, despite being indoors. over 6 inches of rain in less than five minutes. lightning and thunder far less than a second behind each other... good fun! =D

don't worry, I also got snapshots of the Caribbean when it was brighter and happier... they're coming soon. but for now, here's the dark side of Davy Jones.

Wonderful shot! I really like the contrast between the jagged diagonal edge of the cloud and the calm flat edge of the sea.

Yup. I now have Ocean Blue as my desktop. My dad always loves them. He'll kick me off of the computer, and be like, cool desktop.

Oh, I see. xD I went on a mission trip once to Washington DC and got to see Chesapeak Bay (not sure if that's spelled right) And it was really amazing. =]

You're welcome ^^ :hug:

:jawdrop: That's stunning, mate, really! And that huge cumulonimbous cloud hanging above the beginnings of a rough sea looks so ominous! Spectacular shot! (Though I've never been fond of thunderstorms myself...^^; This one looks like it was a real monster!)

"huge cumulonimbous cloud" ooooh, that's what those kind of clouds are called! I never knew, really... and I don't think I'm gonna try to say that big word, either. ^^;

thank you, once again!! :hug: :glomp: :heart:
I think Calypso was pretty cranky at us for disturbing her territory, but she got over it -- we had sunshine the rest of the week! :aww:

:giggle: Yeah...I only knew that because my dad is a Hydro-meteorologist at BPA. (Bonniville Power Administration. He works with the weather and water-ish stuff.)

You're welcome! Once again! :giggle: :heart:
That's good!
